First thing to do is to gather all the materials needed. It is very important so that you can save time in making your scrapbook. Here are the materials that you need before making your scrapbook. You must have some adhesives, this is very important, without it, you will be having a hard time over your scrapbook. A very important reminder before buying adhesives is that you have to choose the one that is acid free to prevent damaging over your art papers and pictures. Then you must have a scissors, coloring pens, pencil, and a ruler. Next is an album, this is where you are to place your work, this serves as a medium. Before buying an album you have to decide whether you want the one that can be expanded or the one that is fixed. If you decided to add a page on your album you must make sure that the pages you bought would fit on the album you have.
To create a book with a touch of art you may need to have some scrapbook accessories. You must be careful in picking its color. Determine first the theme color of your work to prevent awkward blending of colors. Next is you need to have supportive materials like clips, rings, wires, and threads to create a strong and long lasting product. Most scrapbooks have mounted pictures. Always remember that before mounting photos you have to decide first whether that will be a permanent part of the scrapbook or not. There are some people that would permanently mount pictures on to their scrapbook then would regret at the following day because they want to get the picture back, but they can’t since it is permanently mounted. If you force to remove the picture you may end up tearing it apart. Scrapbooking needs a lot of time to make. Some would take several days to months in finishing their work. When you are not working with your scrapbook it is ideal to place it in a box. If you want to have a cheaper storage a shoe box would work.
